Bird Flu Explodes in Indonesia

Unsurprising.
“We’re tying to fix this leak in the roof, and there’s a storm,” World Health Organization spokesman Dick Thompson said. “The storm is that the virus is in animals almost everywhere and the lack of effective attention that’s being addressed to the problem.”

Bird Flu Clues In Indonesia

Oh, so this is why bird flu may have mutated in Indonesia into a human-to-human transmission form:
Local authorities have resisted working with outside health experts and many villagers blame black magic, not bird flu, for the deaths of the family members.

Possible Human to Human Bird Flu Transmission Suspected in Indonesia

If this indeed turns out to be true, hopefully the infected people can be quarantined in time to prevent further transmission of the virus. And hopefully Indonesia will literally clean up their act.
